Deactivating Video Navigation
If you do not want to store program information, you can
deactivate the Video Navigation function.

deactivated, “NAVIGATION: OFF” appears (with

●
Video Navigation playback is possible only with the tape
recorded on this VCR.
●
To record the date and time as the program title in this VCR's
memory, make sure the VCR’s clock is set correctly before
recording.
●
To record the program information in this VCR’s memory, you
must record each program for over the minimum recording
time; 5 min for the SP mode and 15 min for EP mode.
●
Video Navigation may not work properly for some tapes.
●
If the VCR finds two tape numbers in one tape while playing
back or searching for the beginning of a program, the tape
will be assigned just one number (smaller number) when you
remove the tape.
●
The program information is stored in this VCR’s memory.
Should the memory in this VCR be damaged and the program
information be lost, it is impossible to restore that
information.
●
After recording a tape on this VCR, write the tape number on
a label and affix the label to the tape in order to allow you to
find the tape by its number.
