The TV automatically record the programme on air in the installed hard disk
drive temporarily, so that users can pause, play, fast rewind, fast forward, instant
replay, etc. even while watching the currently broadcasting TV programme.
Note:
While instant recording or scheduled recording, you cannot perform the
time shifted recording and playback.
TSR Play Bar
If you press the trick play buttons while watching TV, the TSR Play bar appears
on the bottom of the screen.
TSR Play bar displays the current operation status, the time gap between the
broadcasting point and watching point, and the amount of temporarily saved
programme.

Note:
When the operation status is PLAYING (►) or LIVE on the TSR Play bar,
if you take no action for about 10 seconds, the TSR Play bar will be disappear.

Play/Pause
Press the
PLAY/PAUSE
(
) button to pause the playback. Press the button
again to resume playback. TSR Play bar disappears after 10 seconds.
Note:
Pause makes the time difference or delay between the broadcasting point
and watching point. The time difference is equal to the paused time period. You
can check the time difference in the TSR Play bar. Other operations such as
slow motion and rewind also make the time difference. Press
STOP
(■) button to
remove the time difference and watch the programme on air presently.

This chapter describes the PVR (Personal Video Recorder) function that allows
you to record a programme in the installed hard disk drive.
You can access to the Recording menu only in Digital TV input mode.
Note:
You can record the digital TV or radio programmes only. The analog
channels and external A/V inputs can’t be recorded.
