Wi-Fi connection
Cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network.
\
Use a router with Wi-Fi capability.
\
The System is not compatible with WPS-PIN
or WPS-PBC routers.
\
Do not use special characters such as %, #
and * in the router name or AirPlay device
name.
\
Do not place the System near objects which
may cause interference, such as microwaves
and other wireless LAN devices.
Cannot make a direct wireless connection.
\
Move the AirPlay/DLNA device and the
System closer together.
\
If audio cannot be played, try using a
different application.
AirPlay/DLNA
The AirPlay icon is not displayed on the
AirPlay device or in iTunes on the computer.
\
Connect the System to the network.
\
Enable "Bonjour" on the computer before
opening iTunes.
Cannot make a AirPlay/DLNA connection
using a computer.
\
Disable your firewall or security software.
\
Check that the network communication
speed is fast enough. It may be necessary
to turn off other devices connected to the
router.
Music streaming cuts out.
\
Restart the AirPlay device, DLNA device, or
the System.
\
If available, use the automatic channel scan
function on your Wi-Fi router.
\
If available, use the Wireless Intelligent
Stream Handling (WISH) function on your
Wi-Fi router.
\
If available, use the Quality of Service (QoS)
function on your Wi-Fi router.
\
Do not use another household router at the
same time.
iPod/iPhone/iPad (USB connection)
No sound is heard.
\
Make sure that iPod/iPhone/iPad is playing
audio.
\
Connect iPod/iPhone/iPad to the System
correctly.
iPod/iPhone/iPad audio cannot be played/
cannot be recognized.
\
Disconnect and reset iPod/iPhone/iPad, and
disconnect and reconnect the System's AC
power cord. (For details on resetting iPod/
iPhone/iPad, refer to the Apple website.)
Cannot charge iPod/iPhone/iPad.
\
Make sure that iPod/iPhone/iPad are firmly
connected to the connector.
\
Use compatible iPod/iPhone/iPad.
"This accessory cannot be used with
iPhone" or a similar message appears on
the iPhone screen.
\
Is the iPhone battery capacity low? Charge
the iPhone battery.
\
Connect iPhone properly.
BLUETOOTH devices
Cannot connect a BLUETOOTH device.
\
Enable the BLUETOOTH function.
\
Check that the BLUETOOTH device is
compatible with BLUETOOTH profile A2DP.
Sound cuts out, or static is produced.
\
The BLUETOOTH device may be too far away
from the System, or there may be another
device causing signal interference. Move
the device closer to the System or change
its position.
If the System does not work correctly...
The System works using a built in
microprocessor. If buttons are not operative,
disconnect the AC power cord from the wall,
wait for a while, then connect the cord again.
