Windows
Explorer
(not Internet Explorer) icon.
In Windows XP/2000/Me, the
Windows Explorer icon can be
found in the Accessories group
[click on Start, (All) Programs,
Accessories, Windows Explorer).
In Windows 98/98SE, the Windows
Explorer icon can be found in the
Program menu (click on Start,
Programs, Windows Explorer).
8.You can transfer files between the
JX MP256FM and your computer in
the same manner as if they were
drives on the same PC.
Note: If your songs are grouped in
folders, you can transfer the folder
structure directly, without having to
isolate the song titles.
7. Open Windows Media Player 10. Your
JX-MP256FM will appear as an MTP
Media Device, and not as a USB drive.
Note: Knowledge of Windows Media
Player 10, beyond the scope of this
manual, is required to transfer files
from the Media Player to your
portable device. If necessary,
consult your Windows
documentation or any friends or
associates who may be able to
provide help.
8. Transfer any files to your
JX-MP256FM.
Note 1: Do NOT remove the USB cable during any file transfer before the transfer is
complete, otherwise the process will be interrupted and may lock up the unit, at

Note 2: The files stored in your JX-MP256FM are not dependent on the condition or the
