category (e.g. MP3 songs, FM Radio, voice files), they allow you to skip forward or
backward among audio files, or fast forward or fast reverse within voice recordings
and MP3 and WMA songs and, of course, to select from among the menu entries
above. Their use will be fully explained in subsequent pages.
Setting System Functions
A. System Time
1 For now, use either the

Its top row represents the date, expressed in the YYYY-MM-
DD format (here, the date shown is April 29, 2005). Its bottom
row represents the time, expressed in 24-hour format
(HH:MM:SS). In 12-hour format, this time is 8:32 PM, and 30
seconds.
To convert time expressed in
12-Hour format to the 24-Hour
format, follow the rules at the right:
Subtract 12 hours from any 12-hour
time between 12:00 AM (midnight)
and 12:59 AM, OR
Add 12 hours to any 12-hour time
between 1:00 PM and 11:59 PM.
To convert time expressed in
24-Hour format to the 12-Hour
format, follow the rules at the right:
Add 12 hours to any 24-hour time
between 00:00:00 (midnight) and
00:59:00, OR
Subtract 12 hours from any 24-hour
time between 13:00:00 and 23:59:59.
