3. Installation in general
When installing the stove, all local regulations must be observed, hereunder regulations concerning national and
international standards.
Please ensure that the combustion air supply is adequate, also when using other heating and ventilation units. Modern houses
are insulated in such a manner that it may be required to add fresh air by means of ventilation valves. If such ventilation valves
exist, please ensure that blocking is prevented.
Further, please check that the vermiculite plates are mounted correctly inside the combustion chamber. Please
see the illustration in this manual for placement of the plates.
Please note that the stove must be placed with the indicated minimum distance to flammable material.
Bottom / base / wall
The stove must be installed on a fire-proof base/ a fire-proof wall, i. e. if there are no tiles or bricks, please observe the
rules for distances to flammable material in front/back/next to the stove for the country in question, in which the stove is
to be installed. Please ask your retailer in case of questions. The stove must further be placed on a base with
adequate load capacity.
Please note: The floor under the stove, as well as 500mm in front of the stove must be made of non-flammable
material, such as concrete, tiles or the like
–
placing e. g. an iron plate on top of a wooden floor 500mm in front of the
stove is NOT appropriate. .
