2�3�5 Reset Button
The reset button, activated by insertion of any pin-like implement, executes a hard reset
for the PXI-63980.
2�3�6 LED Indicators
Four LED indicators on the faceplate indicate operational status of the PXI-63980, as follows.

indicator
Color
Description
Power LED
Green
Indicates system power. Remains lit when the system
boots normally and main power supply is functioning.
HDD LED
Yellow Indicates operating state of the HDD or SSD. Flashes
during access to or activity on the SATA HDD.
Watchdog
Red
Indicates status of the watchdog timer, lighting when
watchdog timer has expired. Please refer to Appendix B
for watchdog timer programming information.
HS LED
Blue
Indicates system status, blinking on and off once during
boot when system status is good, and continuously
blinking or remaining lit when the system malfunctions.
