Otherwise, It will show “IF-LP: NG”. If system passes the IF loopback test, it will judge the monitor
channel between IDU & ODU is working normal which is the same as whether ODU M/C alarm happens.
If system passes IF loopback test, the system will perform RF and PRBS tests. If error number within 30
seconds is 0, then it will display “RF-LP:OK”. Otherwise, It will show “RF-LP: NG”. If the system passes
RF loopback test, the system continues to perform remote loopback test. Before performing remote
loopback test, system would verify the condition between local and remote is normal. If normal, system
would perform remote loopback & PRBS tests for each tributary in turn. If the error number is 0, then the
tributary is viewed to pass the test. If tributary doesn’t pass the test, it will show “RMT-LP: NG Trib n”
which means tributary n doesn’t pass remote loopback test. Under the process of testing, any one of the
test fails will end the self test procedure.
