Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 Operating Principle:
In KS-Series Ultrasonic Lace Sewing Machine (Ultrasonic Sealing Machine), there
is an Ultrasonic Generator which converts the power source (115V or 230VAC,
50/60Hz) into high voltages and frequencies of Ultrasonic energy, which is then
fed into a transducer; and the transducer converts the electric Ultrasonic energy
into the mechanical vibration energy by means of piezoelectric effect.
KING Ultrasonic Lace Sewing Machine consists of 3 main factors as described
below:
A.
Ultrasonic: including ultrasonic power generator, transducer and horn.
B.
Driving system: Using 2 sets of motors; individually drives and controls speed
of the roller and horn.
C.
Pattern Roller: Its vibrations enable the KS-Series Ultrasonic Machine to
perform many processes, such as cutting, sealing, stamping, lace effect …of
thermoplastic films, sheets, thermoplastic fibers, mixed woven or non-woven
cloth simultaneously fibers, mixed woven or non-woven cloth simultaneously
or separately . There are more than 1000 kinds of patterns to choose from.
Special patterns designed by customers are also possible.
1.2 Mechanism Principle:
The ultrasonic mechanical vibration is amplified, and transmitted to the horn
surface through a booster, and then on to the horn.
At the point which the pattern roller and the horn meet, the pressure between
the two condense the vibrations into energy. This energy then by disturbing the
molecule or the material, generates heat and the heat will melt the thermoplastic
fibers in the cloth (or thermoplastic film or sheet) which are fed in between
them. Consequently, the sharp edge on the roller (if applicable) will cut the
melted fibers and seal the cutting line.
Note:
If the material is not thermoplastic or the cloth contains only a few
thermoplastic fibers, i.e. below 35%, only the cutting operation can be
obtained and there will be no sealing effect. Thus, the edges of the
cutting line will be frayed very easily.
1.3 The machine has undergone stringent testing and its quality is assured before
delivery.
