The
Processing
tab of Scan Details enables playback or replay of your original bag file, as
well as other post-processing tasks such as filtering, aligning, and colorization of Stencil
Pro datasets, adding a substantial amount of clarity and visual understanding to point
cloud data. When a scan is completed, go to the
Processing
tab in the Scan Details.

Processing data on Stencil Pro is highly customizable and can significantly improve the
accuracy and visual fidelity of your Stencil datasets, adding a substantial amount of clarity
and understanding to point cloud data. The Stencil Pro UI offers the user unique
customization for post-processing data. You have the option to perform actions either
individually or as a series of tasks that will run sequentially.
There are two views for processing, Standard and Advanced. By default, the Advanced
View of the Processing tab displays when you navigate to the Processing tab from Scan
Details (Figure 40). From the Advanced View, you can change preset parameters and
modify settings. Once you have a processing sequence optimized, you can save it as a
procedure and run the same series of tasks on other scans. From the Standard View, you
can run procedures quickly, with one-touch processing of datasets. See Standard View on
page 94 for more information about running efficient processing procedures on Stencil
Pro.
