Data transfer between software and programmer
4.1
Installing the drivers
This section describes how to install the drivers and connect the programmer to the PC.
Prerequisites for installation are:
•
PC with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Microsoft Server 2008
•
Drivers CD
•
Kaba programmer with USB cable 2.0
4.2
Data transfer software
Once the drivers have been installed, the programmer can be used with the desired software
(KEM, Kaba exos, etc.) For a detailed description of installing the software KEM please see the
software operating instructions k1evo806en.
Installing drivers
1.
Insert the software CD in the CD drive.
2.
Open the Driver/Programmer1460 folder.

Select and launch the file

4.
Follow the installation instructions displayed on the PC monitor.

Connect the programmer to the PC using the USB cable.
6.
The programmer will install itself automatically.
