Operation
This section describes operation of the product.
5.1
Operating the c-lever
A user medium is required to operate the c-lever. This medium is used to open or
lock doors and functions like an electronic key. All user media are given the appropri-
ate access authorisation before their first use. When the user medium is used, the
component detects whether the medium has the required access authorisation. If au-
thorisation is successful, access is granted. Unauthorised user media are rejected.
5.2
Opening with user media
Before being used for the first time, access authorisations for the relevant system
software must be transmitted to the Components.

1. Hold the authorised user medium in front of the antenna of
the
fitting.

Note:
The c-lever's opening time is limited; after this time has
elapsed, the c-lever closes automatically. Upon delivery, the
opening time is approx. 6 s, but this can be adjusted using
the 1460 programmer or the system software.
2. Activate the lock by pushing the lever handle.
3. The door can be opened.

If there is an attempt to gain access using unauthorised user
media, the acoustic

signal will sound four times and the red

light will briefly flash four times.
