7.2.2.2 Operation as electric strike with s-module
The S-module functionality with which you will be familiar from c-lever is provided on the Compact
Reader as standard and can be parameterized using Kaba evolo Manager or Kaba exos system
software.

7.2.2.3 Function of s-module
The s-module is used to override the access function by means of an external, insulated switch. It is
equipped with a
self-learning function
. During initialization (INI reset), the s-module interprets the
current switch position as the output position. If this position is changed, the action defined under
"activation" is performed. It is possible, therefore, to use a make or break contact.
