Standalone operation with firmware option N/T/U300 V3
The standalone operation with the firmware option N/T/U300 V3 described here deviates only slightly
from standalone operation with the firmware option E300 V4 (described in chapter 7). It is for that
reason that only the deviations of V3 in comparison with V4 are listed in this chapter.
Device description, mounting, connections, etc. are the same in both cases.
8.1
Functions with Firmware Option N/T/U300 V3
The functions correspond to the well-known functions of the Kaba elolegic reader.
With the programmer 1364, the data required for the Whitelist, Mobile or CardLink types of
authorization are stored in the remote reader. This means the Compact Reader is responsible for
the authorization check and access point triggering.
The Compact Reader with the firmware option N/T/U300 V3 can be used with Kaba elolegic,
Kaba exos or B-COMM, although their operation and functionality are supported differently:
