Knurled screw
1. Shut down the machine using the «OFF» key.
2. Isolate the machine from the air consumers.
Do not turn the knurled screw too far.
3. Turn the knurled screw on the safety valve anti-clockwise until air blows off and hold in this po‐
sition until all air is exhausted. Then turn the knurled screw back to its original position.
4. Check for zero pressure.
The crankcase is not de-pressurised after having been vented?
Air consumer is still connected to the machine or the safety valve is defective.
➤ Disconnect machine from air consumer or have an authorized KAESER SERVICE tech‐
nician check the safety valve.
➤ If manual venting does not attain de-pressurisation in the crankcase: contact the author‐
ised KAESER SERVICE.
