it does not exceed the rated load capacity of the circuit. The circuit breaker switch can also be
used to turn the generator power on or off.
Grounding Terminal
The generator grounding terminal is connected to the generator panel, the non-conductive
metal parts of the generator, and the ground terminals of each receptacle. Consult a qualified
electrician before grounding the generator.
Oil Level Sensor
The oil level sensor prevents engine damage caused by insufficient oil in the crankcase. Before
the oil level in the crankcase is below a safe limit, the sensor will automatically shut down the
engine (the engine switch will remain in the "ON" position). Before restarting the machine after
the engine has been switched off by the oil level sensor, check the oil level and top up if
necessary.
OPERATING GENERATOR
Start-Up
1. Make sure that the generator is intact and ready for operation, and that the generator
power is sufficient for the task.
2. Disconnect any devices plugged into the AC outlet before starting the generator. It can
be difficult to start the generator if it is overloaded from the beginning.
3. Turn on the fuel supply by turning the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
4. If
you’re starting the generator with a cold engine, close the choke. Move the choke
lever or pull the rod to the "CLOSED" position.
5. When starting the generator with a warm engine, open the choke (i.e. when the engine
is warm after a short pause). Move the lever or push the stick to the "OPEN" position.
6. Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
7. Pull lightly on the starter handle until resistance is felt, then pull briskly. Repeat this
operation until the engine starts.
NOTE!
To prevent starter and engine damage, do not let go of the starter handle when the
rope returns to its place.
8. If the choke is closed, open it after the engine warms up.
