User manual
This electronic room thermostat. serves for temperature-dependent On/OFF control of
heaters, zone valves, storage heatings etc. in dry, closed rooms.
1. Operating elements
1. Knob „comfort temperature“
2. Knob „temperature setback“
3. Key „RESET“
2. Function
The clock thermostat 30056/146910 measures the ambient temperature by means of an
internal sensor. The output is a floating double-throw contact. A seven-day timer controls the
heating and temperature setback periods in the automatic mode.
You can select between automatic-, heating-, temperature setback, frost protection and „off“
by means of the keys. An indicator at the left part of the display shows the relay position.
2.1. Comfort temperature
The desired comfort temperature (5 to 40°C) is selected at the upper knob (1). The
corresponding value is indicated at the right part of the display instead of the actual
temperature. Three seconds after the last movement of the knob the thermostat shows the
actual temperature automatically again.
Hint:
A change of the comfort temperature results in a change of the setback
temperature by the same value, as the temperature setback is interconnected
relatively to the comfort temperature.
(However, a change of the setback temperature does not result in a change of the
comfort temperature.)
2.2 Temperature setback
The temperature setback can be set at the lower knob (2): It is indicated absolutely in the
right part of the display. Three seconds after the last movement of the knob the thermostat
again shows the actual temperature.
Caution: In order to avoid freezing the setback temperature cannot be adjusted below +5°C.
