5.4.1

Logbook

The logbook window allows you to get some information about your
flights. The logbook view differs between PFD and EMS mode.

PFD Mode

The logbook window lists recent flights in reverse or-

der (last flight is listed first). Date, pilot, takeoff time, landing time
and duration are shown on each item. Selecting an item and pressing
the

OK

button, gives further options:

ˆ

More info

– open a new window with even more details about

the selected flight. Use

up

&

down

buttons to scroll the details

window.

ˆ

Copy flight

– creates a file on the external SD card in the KML

format. This format can be viewed in Google Earth, for exam-
ple. It will show you the flight path with the altitude.

ˆ

Copy details

– creates a special log file, where entries are sepa-

rated by tabulator character. Each row in a such file represents
one second of flight. Almost all flight and engine parameters
are included in the file. This file can be then imported to Ex-
cel or Calc or some other spreadsheet application for further
analysis.

EMS Mode

The EMS mode also provides some limited logbook

functions. In this case most recent engine runs (engine start, engine
stop pairs) are listed. All are based on the engine total time. Select-
ing one of the listed items and pressing the

OK

button, performs the

Copy TAB action

– a special log file is created on the external SD

card.
