Kango KS26 Super Saw 110 / 230v
Safety Instructions -
Please note: These instructions are intended as Guidance only. Tools
and Equipment must be used in accordance with manufacturers operating guidelines and all
applicable legal requirements.
1. The Kango KS26 Super Saw is used for cutting common brick, sandstone, limestone, block
walls and wall board, it should
not
however be used for engineering bricks, concrete or
hand stone.
2. Serious damage or injury can easily be caused by the Saw since the blade rotates at high
speed.
3. Impact resistant Goggles, Gloves, Ear protection for noise levels up to 95dB and a dust
mask should be worn during operation, as should reinforced safety.
4. Electricity used in the operation of this piece of equipment is hazardous and should be
regarded with care. Please read all the guidance on 110/230v below.
5. The saw should only be used by a responsible, able bodied adult and not by a minor or
anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
6. Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with this piece of equipment.
Checking the Kango Super Saw before starting it up
1. Check every part of the Saw and familiarise yourself with the controls, ensuring that you
know how to turn it off. If there is any damage, please contact us immediately on 01375

You and Your Working Area
1. Do not use this equipment in a confined space without adequate ventilation as toxic fumes
or gas could ignite from the sparks and cause severe injury or death.
2.
Do not
use this equipment to cut Asbestos Containing Materials.
3. Place barriers around your working area to protect others from the noise, dust and any
flying debris.
4. If the object you are to work on is not securely fixed and could move whilst you are working,
ensure it is clamped or held in place by a vice or similar. Larger structures should be
checked for structural integrity. If you have any doubt, please call us on 01375 392333 and
we will be able to provide you with support props.
5. Due to the dust created, ensure hard to clean items or areas to be protected are covered
with a dust proof fabric.
6. Depending upon what you are going to work on, check there are no fuel pipes, water pipes,
electric cables or gas pipes before you begin.
7. Ensure no loose clothing can be caught in the saw.
Electricity Awareness – 110v Saws – Yellow Plug
1. Your Saw will either operate on 110v, and therefore have a yellow industrial plug fitted
OR
on 230v in which case it will have either a normal square 3 pin plug fitted or a blue industrial
plug fitted. Decide which voltage your machine works off.
2. If you have a 110v machine with a yellow plug and are using a portable transformer:
