3. Restart the Lotus Domino server.
If you are installing the Windows N
Т
/2000 version on a server, whereon
other Kaspersky Labs products are installed, for example, Kaspersky
Anti-Virus
®
for MS NT Server, after web installation:
1. Copy the license key to the
disk:\KAVENGINE
directory.
2. Restart the Lotus Domino server.
If you are installing the Linux version, after web installation do the
following:
1. Extract the archive with the
kavengine.tar.gz
product located in the
/local/notesdata/Daemon
folder into the
/opt/kav/
folder.
2. Register the library. To do this, log in with the
root
user rights, copy
the
libcpplin.so.23
library from the
Domino
folder to the
/usr/lib
folder, and type
ldconfig
in the command line.
3. Copy the license key to the
/opt/kav/keys
folder.
4. Update the anti-virus databases using the
update
script from the
/opt/kav
folder.
5. Launch the daemon process using the
kavstart
script from the
/opt/kav
folder.
6. Restart the Lotus Domino server.
The key must be copied manually to the same directory the program was
installed to. If the program is running, in order the kernel to load the key,
exit and then start again the
kavscanner
and
kavmonitor
modules.

Upgrading version 4.0 to 5.0
If Kaspersky Anti-Virus
®
4.0 for Lotus Notes/Domino is installed on your server,
you can upgrade it to version 5.0. To upgrade the program:
1. Delete
the
KavCheckBox
document that refers to the
kav_cbox.nsf
database from the
Server\Mail-In Databases
section of the
address book.
2. Stop your Lotus Domino server.
3. Delete manually the following files:
•
Windows NT/2000:
