In order to enable backup of the previous version of the anti-virus data-
base update, check the
Backup of the anti-virus database
box.
In this case, all the information from the anti-virus database update direc-
tory will be saved in the special
Backup
directory.

Event log

The
Event log
tab (see Figure 54) is used for setting up the parameters of log-
ging the update task execution results, including: the log file type, its location and
size, the list of events to be logged, and the file name in which to save the log. A
separate log file is created for each task.
