Please read and comply with
these instructions prior to the
initial operation of your appli-
ance. Retain these operating instructions for
future reference or for subsequent posses-
sors.
Before using the appliance for the first time,
read and observe these operating instruc-
tions and the accompanying brochure: Safe-
ty information for brush cleaning units and
spray-extraction units, No. 5.956-251.
The machine has been approved for use on
surfaces with gradients of up to 2%.
While working at place with an upward/
downward inclination between 2 - 10%, the
attachment set (ABS) for additional brake
2.640-376 must have been installed for your
own safety.
The appliance may only be operated
when the hood and all lids are closed.
During operations, the key switch should
not have been set to "O“. Press emer-
gency stop button in case of danger.
Safety devices serve to protect the user and
must not be rendered inoperational or their
functions bypassed.
To put all functions out of operation immedi-
ately.
The following symbols are used in this oper-
ating manual:
Danger
indicates an immediate threat of danger.
Failure to observe the instruction may result
in death or serious injuries.

indicates useful tips and important informa-
tion.
Risk of injury on account of being crushed.
Hold the tank only in this area while tilting
downward.
The appliance is used for the wet cleaning or
polishing of level floors. The dust that arises
can be sucked in and mixed with water.

A working distance of 550 mm will im-
prove the efficiency when you are using
the appliance for a long period.

The device is self-moving; the drive mo-
tor is feed by four batteries.

The batteries can be charged using a
charger connected to a 230 V socket.
–
A charger has already been integrated in
the appliance BDP 55/1900 W Bp Pack.
