Place short boards as a support under-
neath the ramp.
Î
Remove the wooden bars in front of the
wheels.
Î
Lift cleaning head with pedal and re-
move the carton packing.
Î
Slowly push the machine down from the
ramp.
Danger
Risk of injury. Press on the foot pedal only
with one foot. The other foot must be
placed firmly on the ground.
Î
Insert the end of the extension cable as
a loop in the strain relief clamp.
Î
Plug in the main plug.

Warning
Risk of damage. The vacuum bar must be
liften to move in reverse direction.
Note
The appliance is designed and built in such
a way that the brush head is projecting to-
wards the right. This enables working in a
comfortable way close to the edges.

Turn the program selection switch to
the desired cleaning program.

Release parking brake (optional); move
the pedal downward and turn to the left.
Then let the pedal move upwards.
Î
Adjust the water quantity using the reg-
ulating button according to the dirt on
the floor covering.
Î
Lower the vacuum bar.
Î
Turn on the brushes by moving the
safety switch foward or backward. The
appliance will be pulled forward slightly
by the running brushes.
Î
Turn off the brushes: Release the safe-
ty switch. The appliance will no longer
be pulled forward.
Î
Open cover.
Î
Fill fresh water (maximum 60 °C) until
the lower edge of the filling nozzle.

Warning
Risk of damage. Only use the recommend-
ed detergents. With respect to different de-
tergents the operator bears the increased
risk regarding the operational safety and
danger of accident.
Only use detergents that are free from sol-
vents, hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric
acid.
Note
Do not use highly foaming detergents.
