A locking screw is required for 1 nozzle op-
eration (see accessories).
* Standard
Note
We recommend using a dirt filter in the
high-pressure line, however, the sieve
should be cleaned regularly.
Danger
Risk of fatal injuries on account of electric
voltage! Required electrical work must only
be performed by an electrical specialist.
– The socket must be secured through a
wrong current protection switch with a
triggering current of 30 mA.
– This socket must be located close to the
work station so that the plug can be
pulled immediately in case of an emer-
gency.
1 Screwed sealing plug
2 Bevel wheel
3 Axle stub
4 Drum screws or hole cone
Î
Loosen the locking screw.
Î
Remove the disc and the circular blank.
Î
Pull off the bevel wheel.
Î
Unscrew axel stub by means of a round
tool (2.8 mm diameter).
Î
Insert or replace drum screws or hole
cone.
Î
Coat the axle stub with sealant (Loctite
no. 500, order no. 6.869-002) and screw
it in.
Î
Attach bevel wheel.
Î
Mount the disc and the circular blank.
Î
Lubricate locking screw with sealant
and screw it in.
Danger
Risk of injury on account of the escaping
water jet that could be hot!
–
Only use the interior cleaner in closed
containers.
–
Only insert the interior cleaner into a
container or switch it into another con-
tainer while the separate high pressure
pump and internal drive are turned off.
Note
Try to set up the interior cleaner in the cent-
er of an area.
Î
Screw the interior cleaner onto the ob-
ject to be cleaned using the screw con-
nection on the support pipe; or, with the
hole cone model, insert and adjust the
immersion depth.
Î
Connect the high pressure pump to the
interior cleaner via a high pressure
hose.
Î
Plug in the main plug.
Î
Open the cleaning liquid supply.
Î
Switch on the separate high pressure
pump.
Note
With almost all cleaning tasks, 2 nozzles
will achieve a good cleaning result. With
very large and extremely dirty containers, 1
nozzle is used; the other one is locked with
a screw.
Advantage:
– Better cleaning result by larger spray
width and impact force of the cleaning
jet.
Disadvantage:
– The bearings and seals are stressed
more and will wear faster.
– Extension of the cleaning time.
Note
Flush/rinse the interior cleaner for 30 sec-
onds prior to shutting it off. This will avoid
crusting and adhesion and thus a prema-
ture wear of the seals.
Î
Switch off the separate high pressure
pump.
Î
Shut off the cleaning liquid supply.
Î
Pull out the mains plug.
Î
Remove the interior cleaner from the
container.
The basis for a safe operational plant is reg-
ular maintenance.
Use only original parts of the manufacturer
or part suggessted by him, such as
– replacement and wear parts
– Accessory parts
– Fuel
– Detergent
Danger
Risk of accident while working on the unit!
During all tasks:
Î
Remove voltage from and secure high
pressure pump at the main switch.
Î
Shut off the cleaning liquid supply.
Î
Pull out the mains plug.
Maintenance work may only be carried out
by persons who have been instructed in the
safe operation and maintenance on the
high-pressure systems.
In order to guarantee a reliable operation og
the equipment, we success, you signed a
maintenance agreement. Please refer to
you local Kärcher service department.
Î
Remove contamination in the gear area
on the cleaning head.
Î
Check screws for tight fit.
