– Only use appliance to generate hot wa-
ter in connection with a high-pressure
cleaner to clean machines, vehicles,
buildings, tools, etc.
– If using cleaning agents other than wa-
ter, check with dealer or customer ser-
vice.
– When adjusting the temperature ob-
serve suitability for the pump and ob-
jects to be cleaned.
DANGER
Risk of injury! Follow the respective safety
regulations upon employment at gas sta-
tions or other dangerous areas.
– With the HWE 860 you can heat water
using electric energy. Its use is sensible
everywhere, where the exhaust air of a
burner poses a problem.
– The temperature that can be reached
depends on the water volume that was
put through, so the feed capacity of the
used pump (median value see Specifi-
cations).
– The set temperature is controlled by a
thermostat. If the switch unit is in the
position "manual operation", the heater
is always on via the thermostat. By
switching to the position "automatic op-
eration", the operation readiness also
depends on a switch clock or an exter-
nal remote control.
– The appliance also serves as a provi-
sion container for the high-pressure
pump.
– The liquid softener prevents the calcifi-
cation of the heating spiral while operat-
ing with calciferous tap water It is dosed
into the boiler drop by drop. The meter-
ing is set to a medium value by the
manufacturer. This setting can be ad-
justed to local conditions by customer
service.
The temperature limiter switches off the
machine if the temperature regulator is de-
fective.
– The white container for the liquid sof-
tener is located on the boiler.
– If the white container is empty, the red
indicator lamp on the switch cabinet will
blink.
