General notes
Read these original instructions and the
enclosed safety instructions number

using the device for the first time. Act in accordance with
them.
Keep both books for future reference or for future own-
ers.

If the operating instructions and safety instructions
are not observed, the device can be damaged and
dangers could arise for users and other persons.
●
Notify the dealer immediately in the case of shipping
damage.
●
Check the package contents when unpacking for
missing accessories or for damage.
Environmental protection
The packing materials can be recycled. Please
dispose of packaging in accordance with the en-
vironmental regulations.
Electrical and electronic appliances contain valu-
able, recyclable materials and often components
such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil,
which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can
pose a potential threat to human health and the environ-
ment. However, these components are required for the
correct operation of the appliance. Appliances marked
by this symbol are not allowed to be disposed of togeth-
er with the household rubbish.

Intended use
●
This wet/dry vacuum cleaner is designed to remove
dry dirt and liquids.
●
This device is suitable for vacuuming dry, non-flam-
mable dusts that are harmful to health from ma-
chines and devices; dust class H as per EN 60335-
2-69.
●
Industrial vacuums and portable dust removal devic-
es in accordance with Technical Rule 519 (TRGS
519) Appendix 7.1 may be used for the following ap-
plications:
1. In enclosed spaces, activities with low exposure
in accordance with TRGS 519 number 2.8 or small-
scale work in accordance with TRGS 519 No. 2.10.
2. Cleaning work. In the Federal Republic of Germa-
ny, the regulations in TRGS 519 (Technical Rules for
Hazardous Substances) apply to asbestos vacuum
cleaners.

After using the asbestos vacuum cleaner in the
sealed-off area as per TRGS 519, the asbestos vac-
uum cleaner may no longer be used in the “white ar-
ea”. Exceptions are only permitted if the asbestos
vacuum cleaner has been completely decontami-
nated beforehand by a specialist in accordance with
TRGS 519 No. 2.7 (“completely” means not only the
case, but also e.g. the cooling chamber, installation
spaces for electrical equipment, the operating
equipment itself, etc.). This is to be recorded in writ-
ing and signed by the technical expert.

The flat fold filter (GF) 6.904-242.0 (material mark-
ing B) may only be used in combination with the
safety filter bag 2.889-183.0 or 2.889-184.0.
●
This device is suitable for commercial use, e.g. in
hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offices,
and rental companies.
●
For Switzerland only: The socket outlet shall only be
used during operation in dry condition.
