2. Check the glass surface for heavy soiling (dried-on
bird droppings, heavy pollen, window paint, etc.).
Remove heavy soiling, if necessary roughly pre-
clean the entire glass surface.
3. After the rough pre-cleaning, clean both areas on
the glass surface in which the retractor and the
cleaning robot are to be attached with a slightly
damp cloth.
Illustration L
Note
Allow the pre-cleaned surface to dry completely before
attaching the retractor and the cleaning robot.
Securing the movement space of the
cleaning robot
Ensure that the movement space of the cleaning robot
is not restricted during operation.
Illustration M
The movement space can be limited by, for example:
Shutters and blinds lowered accidentally or auto-
matically
Adjacent hinged or sliding doors and windows open-
ing or closing accidentally or automatically
Windows, doors, curtains and drapes, etc., moving
accidentally or as a result of drafts
Fitting the safety system
DANGER
Risk of strangulation on safety line and straps
There is a risk of strangulation on the safety line and
straps.
Keep children and pets away from the safety line safety
straps.
1. Inspect the retractor, safety line, safety strap, suc-
tion cup, and snap hooks for damage and soiling be-
fore each use. Replace damaged parts immediately.
Clean dirty parts.
Illustration N
2. Check the blocking function of the retractor by pull-
ing the safety line out in jerking movements. If the
blocking function does not work, replace the retrac-
tor immediately.
3. Check the safety line for knots and twists; remove
them if present.
4. If possible, attach the retractor in the upper area of
an adjacent, clean glass surface. This can also be
the inside or outside of the glass surface to be
cleaned.
Illustration O
Note
Leave the window or door open when the safety line is
led around the window frame or door frame, otherwise
the safety line will be pinched and the cleaning robot
blocked.
Note
If attachment is only possible on the glass surface to be
cleaned, attach the retractor in the left or right upper cor-
ner.
1. Release the grey lever.
Illustration P
2. Press the retractor onto the glass surface with the
suction cup.
3. Tension the grey lever.
4. Check the retractor for tight seating.
5. Secure the safety strap to a suitable, sturdy location
(e.g. window handle, curtain rod, wall or ceiling
hook, etc.).
Illustration O
ATTENTION
Attach the safety strap so that it cannot get into the
movement area of the cleaning robot. If the robot runs
over the strap, it could detach from the glass surface
and fall down.
Always secure the safety system with the safety strap
before using the cleaning robot.
6. Slowly and evenly pull the safety line out of the re-
tractor.

7. Hook the snap hook into the loop on the cleaning ro-
bot.
8. Tighten the lock nut on the snap hook of the snap
hook.
몇
WARNING
Always tighten the lock nut, otherwise the snap hook
can come loose from the cleaning robot during various
movements.
Placing the cleaning robot on a glass surface
몇
WARNING
Danger to life, injury and damage due to the clean-
ing robot falling down.
The cleaning robot can detach from the glass surface
and fall down when the battery is empty, in the event of
a malfunction and in the event of strong wind or precip-
itation when used outdoors.
Operate the cleaning robot only with the supplied, func-
tioning, undamaged and correctly installed safety sys-
tem.
Always keep a sufficiently large area under the cleaning
robot free of people and pets while it is attached to a
glass surface.
Always maintain visual and acoustic contact with the
cleaning robot while it is in operation, in order to keep
the hazard zone free and be able to remove it from the
glass surface if necessary.
Remove the cleaning robot from the glass surface be-
fore the battery is completely discharged, when a mal-
function is visible or indicated by sound signals, and in
the event of strong wind or precipitation when in use
outdoors.

CAUTION
Danger of injury due to rotating drive wheels and
cleaning brushes.

on the rotating drive wheels and cleaning brushes.
Keep body parts such as fingers and hair as well as
loose clothing such as ties and scarves away from the
rotating drive wheels and cleaning brushes.
1. Check the main seal on the entire circumference for
correct seating in the cleaning robot mount. If nec-
essary, push the main seal into the mount.

2. Press and hold the On / Off button 1 s for a longer
time and 4 s wait until the battery status LED shows
the charge status of the battery.
