APPENDIX:
Error Messages
1)
In case the user starts to enter an incorrect access code, s/he can obtain [Error]
information by entering a number that does not exist in the system, so that s/he
could have the opportunity to enter the access code again.
2)
The system takes no action for the keys pressed during display of the messages
(Error message, Line back...) that resides on the display for a specific period of
time.
3)
In the event that an incorrect operation is done while in the programming mode,
the error message is displayed in two lines for one second. The user receives
erroneous action tone from the handset during that period. No key pressed in the
meantime is detected and the telephone returns to the upper menu after the error
display is over.
4)
Whenever you see the SERIAL ERROR (XX) message in the top line of your
telephone, this indicates that your telephone cannot communicate with the
exchange. In that case, the upper group keys and special keys of your telephone
do not work. In such cases call your authorized reseller.
