EXTERNAL RELAY CONNECTION
A relay is available on the motherboard for controlling several external devices. That
relay is capable of allowing 2 A current over 250 VAC / -24 VDC. By this relay, it is
possible to control a door opener, an external music source, the external
announcement system or an external ringer, according to the way the system is
programmed. Connection to the external relay is made through the 2-pin connector
(the leftmost two pins of the 4-pin music / external relay connector) that is on the
MS48IP
motherboard. Which one of the devices mentioned above the relay is to be
employed for controlling is determined by programming.
