10. Using the wheelchair
10.1 General warnings and precautions
Please read this section of the manual very carefully as it contains issues
related to safety and possible hazards.
⚫
Use the
anti-tippers
in the active position in normal situations. When
going up or down a curb, you may need to rotate them into an inactive
position to prevent from getting stuck. Remember to put them back
afterwards.

Loads exceeding
maximum user weight
can cause damage and
malfunctions to your wheelchair yielding a safety hazard. Refer to
Section “Technical specifications”
for the Maximum User Weight
”.
The
warranty does not cover the damage resulted from overload of the
wheelchair.

Do not
carry passengers
on the wheelchair.
⚫
Have the wheelchair
checked by your supplier
at least on a yearly basis
and after any collision or when the wheelchair is otherwise (visual)
damaged.

Check the tires monthly for wear and damage. Replace them if
necessary.
Warning
⚫
When using too small front wheels, the wheelchair could get
stuck
at curbs or in floor grooves. Make sure that the front
wheels are suitable for the surface you

re driving on.
10.1.1 Use in combination with other products
Warning

The used materials adhere to EN 12183 regarding flame
resistance and biocompatibility.
⚫
The seat or any other mounted parts do not touch the
wheelchair carrier when using the tilt function. This is
because the dimensions will vary from the standard seat.
