11.1.2 Three-point belt restraint
It is necessary to use the three-point belt restraint to secure the wheelchair
occupant. Three-point belt restraint is comprised of a pelvic-belt restraint (2)
and a shoulder-belt restraint (1) that connect together near the hip of the
occupant.
Warning
Not using a three-point belt restraint when transporting the
wheelchair with occupant might lead to severe injuries in case
of an accident.
Please be aware of the following statements.

The shoulder-belt restraint should be positioned as shown in the figure,
fitting over the shoulder and across the chest
The pelvic-belt restraint should create an angle of 30°-75° within the front
view zone and no more than 15° within the side view zone.
