On/Off button 

Switches the control panel on and off. 

 
Button for interior lighting 

This button is used to switch on the electric power supply for the interior lighting. 

 
Button for exterior lighting 

This button is used to switch on the electric power supply for the exterior lighting. 

 
Button for water pump 

Switches on the electric power supply for the water pump. 

 
Button for fresh water tank 

Shows the filling level in the fresh water tank in percent. The light flashes when the tank is empty. 
The filling level appears on the screen for approx. 30 seconds. 

 
Control light for waste water tank 

This light comes on when the waste water tank is full. 

 
Control light for battery charge via external cable / 230 V applied. 

Indicates that the living room batteries are being charged directly from the external connection of 
your vehicle by an external 230 V circuit. 

 
Control light for battery charge B2 (living room) 

Indicates that the battery B2 (living room) is currently being charged by battery B1 (engine) after the 
engine has been started. 

 
Button for battery B2 (living room) charge status 

Shows voltage and charge status of the living room battery. Press once to display the voltage, press 
again to view the charge status in percent. The charge level is displayed on the screen for approx. 
30 seconds. 

 
Button for battery B1 (engine) charge status 

Shows voltage and charge status of the engine battery. Press once to display the voltage, press again 
to view the charge status in percent. 
The charge level appears on the screen for approx. 30 seconds. 
 
 
If the voltage of the living room battery drops below 10 V, the control panel and all active appliances 
will be shut down within one minute. 
 
 
A battery is considered discharged when the charge status shown on the control panel is less than 
1/3. There is a risk of exhaustive/total discharge of the battery if the this charge limit is surpassed. In 
this case the battery is completely discharged and is thus no longer able to take up and maintain its 
full capacity. This results in a considerable decline in battery power and has a negative effect on the 
electric components, especially the distribution module. 
 

 
The Karmann-Mobil warranty does not apply in cases of exhaustive/total discharge.
