AFTER POWER ON
As soon as the bread maker is plugged into the power supply, a beep will be heard and “3:10” will
appear in the display after a short time. But the two dots between “3” and “10” don’t flash con
-
stantly. The arrow points to “900g” and
MEDIA
(browning level: MEDIUM) as the default setting.
START/STOP button
Press the button to start or stop the selected program.
To start a program, press once the
START/STOP
button. A short beep will be heard and the two
dots in the LCD begin to flash, the working light illuminates and the program starts. After the pro
-
gram begins, any other button is disable, except “START/STOP”. This feature will help to prevent
any unintentional disruption to the operation of program.
To stop the program, press the
START/STOP
button for approx. 2 seconds, then a beep will be
heard, the working light will be extinguished, it means that the program has been switched off.
PAUSE function
As soon as the bread maker starts running, you can press the
START/STOP
button once to inter-
rupt at any time, the operation will be paused but the setting will be memorized, the working time
will be flashed on the LCD. Press the
START/STOP
button again or do not touch any button within
10 minutes, the program will continue with the settings previously saved.
MENU button
Press the MENU button to set the different programs. Each time you press (accompanied by a
short beep) the program will vary. Press the button continuously, the 12 menus will be cycled to
show on the LCD display. Select your desired program. The functions of 12 menus will be explai-
ned as below.
1.
Basic
(normale): to knead, rise and bake traditional bread. You may also add extra ingredients
to increase flavor.
2.
French
(francese): to knead, rise and bake bread within a longer rising time. The bread baked
in this menu usually will have a crisper crust and a light texture.
3.
Whole wheat
(integrale): to knead, rise and bake whole wheat bread. It is not advised to use
the “delay time function” as this can produce poor results.
4.
Quick
(veloce): to knead, rise and bake bread within the time less than Basic bread. But the
bread baked on this setting is usually smaller with a thick consistency.
5.
Sweet
(dolce): to knead, rise and bake sweet bread. You may also add extra ingredients to
increase flavor.
6.
Dough
(impasto): kneading and rising, without baking. Remove the dough and use for making
bread rolls, pizza, steamed bread, etc.
7.
Gluten free:
to kneading, rise and bake gluten free bread. You may also add extra ingredients
to add flavor.
8.
Cake
(torta): to knead, rise and bake (leavened with soda or baking powder) cakes.
9.
Sandwich
: to knead, rise and bake sandwich. For baking light texture bread with a thinner
crust.
10.
Butter milk
(panini al burro): to bake bread made with butter and yogurt.
11.
Kneading
(impasta): to knead flour.
12.
Bake
(cuoci): only baking, no kneading and rising. It can also be used for extra cooking.
BROWNING LEVEL (DORATURA)
This button is used to select the level of browning of the crust of the bread, choosing among
“CHIARA”
(light golden brown),
“MEDIO”
(medium browned),
“SCURA”
(darker browning). This
