buttons (transponder frequency already saved) or the keypad (transponder frequency not yet saved) to
select the transponder frequency on which the channel being sought is transmitted. By pressing the
button at this
point you can view a list of the saved transponders for the selected satellite. Use the
buttons to select the transponder
you want and confirm your selection with the
button. At the bottom right of the screen display, the receiver shows
the current signal strength and signal quality of the selected transponder.
The “DVB Type”, “FEC”, “Polarization” and “Symbol Rate” options only need to be specified if the transponder
has yet to be saved.
DVB type
Press the
buttons to select whether you want to search for standard channels (DVB-S (SD)) or for HDTV channels
(DVB-S2 (HDTV)).
FEC
Press the

you need not state the error rate. Instead a fixed display of “Automatic” appears. When searching for DVB S2(HD)

/5, 5/6, 8/9 or 9/10.
Polarization
Press the
buttons to select the correct polarization (horizontal or vertical).
Symbol Rate
Use the
button or the numeric keypad to enter the related symbol rate.
Service ID
Use the numeric keypad to enter the service ID of the channel to be searched for.
Once you have made all the settings, use the
buttons to switch to the “Start search” field and confirm the start of
the search using the
