Beim Einbau der Spindel ist
auf vollkommen zylindrische Aufnahme
zu achten.
3.5.1
Es kann über die gesamte
Mantellänge gespannt werden. Jedoch
ist zu empfehlen, großflächig und mög-
lichst in der Spindelmitte zu spannen.
3.6
Die SF-Motorspindel EWL
4040 bzw. 4042 ist spritzwasserge-
schützt, darf aber nicht getaucht wer-
den.

Achtung!
Spindeln dürfen nur in einer geeigneten
Aufnahme und Maschine, entspre-
chend den Einsatzmöglichkeiten der
Spindel, montiert und betrieben wer-
den.
Die Spindeln sind zu erden!
3.7
Bitte keinerlei Gewalt anwen-
den.
3.8
Auf korrekte Drehrichtung ge-
mäß Drehrichtungspfeil auf Typen-
schild ist zu achten.
3.9
SF-Motorspindel EWL 4040
bzw. 4042 nur mit eingespanntem
Werkzeug oder Prüfstift betreiben. Stö-
ße oder Schläge gegen das einge-
spannte Werkzeug unbedingt vermei-
den.
Nur mit unwuchtfreien Werkzeugen ar-
beiten.

Unfallverhütungs-Vorschrif-
ten sind zu beachten.
Die zulässigen Höchstdrehzahlen, Vor-
schub, sowie weitere spezifische Vor-
schriften des Werkzeugherstellers sind
zu beachten.
4.
Der Garantie-Anspruch er-
lischt, wenn Defekte oder ihre Folgen
darauf beruhen können, daß der Kun-
de oder nicht von KaVo EWL autori-
sierte Dritte Eingriffe oder Veränderun-
gen am Produkt vornehmen.
5.
Spannzangen/Werkzeug-
Wechsel
Achtung!
Werkzeug- bzw. Spannzangenwechsel
(mit 1 Gabelschüssel SW 13
und 1
Ratschenschlüssel SW 10
) ist
nur
bei völligem Stillstand
der SF-Motor-
spindel EWL 4040 bzw. 4042 vorzu-
nehmen. SF-Umrichter sind gegen un-
beabsichtigtes Einschalten zu sichern,
z.B. Netzschalter in Stellung "AUS"
drücken.

When mounting the spindle
pay attention to a completely cylindri-
cal seating.
3.5.1
The spindle can be clamped
over its whole casing length. It is
recommended to clamp a large
surface, and if possible in the middle
of the spindle.
3.6
The HF Motor-Spindle EWL
4040 and/or 4042 is protected against
spray water, but must not be plunged.

Attention!
Spindles must only be mounted and
operated in appropriate receptacles
and machines, according to the
application possibilities of the spindle.
The spindles have to be connected to
ground.
3.7
Please apply no violence at
all.
3.8
Mind the direction of rotation
(see arrow on the rating plate).
3.9
Operate the HF Motor-Spindle
EWL 4040 and 4042 only with a tool or
test pin fitted. It is essential not to
subject the fitted tool to jolts or
impacts.
Use only tools free of unbalance.

Regulations for the prevention
of accidents are to be observed!
Permitted max. speed, forward feed
and further specific instructions
indicated by the manufacturer are to
be observed.
4.
Any liability shall be excluded
if defects or the consequences thereof
are due to manipulation or
modification to the product by the
customer or by any third parties not
authorized by KaVo EWL.
5.
Changing tools/chucks
Attention!
Tools and/or chucks must be changed
(with 1 Fork spanner of ø 13 mm
and 1 ratchet spanner of ø 10 mm
)
only when the HF Motor-spindle
EWL 4040 and/or 4042 is at a
complete standstill
. HF-converters
must be made safe against accidental
switching on, e.g. by pressing the
power switch to "OFF".
