5 Operation | 5.2 Positioning the patient simulator

Loosen the screw on the head of the dental patient simulator.
▶
Then guide the head into the desired position and adjust the head rest ac-
cordingly.
▶
After making the adjustments, tighten the screw on the head again.
Note
The brake for the neck can be adjusted such that the head is adequately se-
cured for treatment and yet can still be moved.

5.2.4 Saving and recalling automatic positions
The patient simulator positions can be set in an infinitely variable manner.
Positions used repeatedly during treatment can be saved and recalled using the
automatic position buttons.
Saving automatic positions through the dentist unit
Recommended assignment of buttons:
"SP" button: rinsing position
"AP 0" button: entry and exit position
"AP 1" button: treatment position, e.g. for lower jaw treatment
"AP 2" button: treatment position, e.g. for upper jaw treatment
"Collape position" button: collapse position

Move the patient simulator to the desired position.
▶
To save a patient simulator position, press the buttons, "AP 0", "AP 1", "AP
2", "SP" or "Collapsed position", until a sound signal is issued.

The display diode of the pressed button is turned on. The patient simulator
position is now saved.
Most recent position
Upon actuation of the "LP" button, the patient simulator drives to the position in
which it was before the "SP" button was pressed.
