5 Operation | 5.2 Positioning the patient simulator
Note
The automatic position "Most recent position" is saved to the "LP" button. The
"LP" button cannot be assigned to another automatic position. Press the "LP"
button for the patient simulator to automatically move to the most recent po-
sition before the rinsing position.
Recalling automatic positions through the assistant unit

Briefly press the "AP" key.
ð
The LEDs of the "AP 0", " AP 1", " AP 2", and "SP" keys flash for approxim-
ately four seconds.

During these four seconds, briefly press the "AP 0", "AP 1", "AP 2" or "SP"
button.
ð
The patient simulator moves into the selected automatic position.
Saving automatic positions through the foot control
Automatic positions can be saved to two foot-operated buttons; the standard
setting is as follows:
▪ "Spray pre-selection" foot-operated button: automatic position "LP" (most
recent position)
▪ "Blown air" foot-operated button: automatic position "SP" (rinsing position)

Hold down the foot pedal and foot-operated button "SP", and simultan-
eously press any button for an automatic position ("AP 0", "AP 1", "AP 2" or
"SP") on the dentist or assistant unit until you hear a beep.

The automatic position is saved for the foot-operated button.

Recalling automatic positions through the foot control
Note
Taking out an instrument blocks the automatic functions of the foot control.
The locking can be released by briefly pressing the stirrup switch. The func-
tions are then made available again.
