7 Calibrate the Everest engine Base Camp 4140

7.4 Calculate the correction values
▶ Check the results.
If the calibration is successful, no more changes may be made. Calibration is over.
If calibration was unsuccessful, the changes have to be entered as follows, and
another calibration body has to be manufactured.
7.4.3 Change cycle parameter P0051
The cycle parameter list must be opened again.
▶ Switch to the "DATA" menu.
▶ Click the button "Data selection" (F1).
▶ Click the "Parameter" button (F2) and then the "DATA" menu.
▶ Click the button "Change" (F5).
▶ Select P51, and delete everything after the equal sign.
▶ Enter P51
New
in µm with a sign (+ / -), and confirm with "OK".
▶ Close the window with "Cancel".
7.4.4 Change the machine parameter Y

In order the change machine parameter Y

, open the MP Tool window.
▶ Switch to the "SETUP" menu
▶ Enter The password "IBHAJ", and confirm with "OK".
▶ Click the button "Machine settings" (F2).
▶ Click the button "Machine parameters" (F1).
▶ Click the button "MP tool" (F1).
A separate window appears.
▶ In the list on the left, open the submenu "ReferencePointCycle" (click on the
"Plus" sign).
▶ Click "ReferencePositionDistance".
