Kawai CL25-LDS Quick Start Guide
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing a
Kawai CL25-LDS Digital Piano.
This
Quick-Start Guide is designed to be used with the CL25-LDS Owner’s
Manual that accompanied your instrument. To begin operating your CL25-
LDS quickly and safely, please observe the following steps:
1.
SAFETY FIRST
– Take a moment to study the
“Important Safety Information”
found
on Pages ____ of the CL25-LDS Owner’s Manual.
2.
DISPLAY FUNCTIONS –
Also take a moment to review Section ___ of the CL25-LDS
Owner’s Manual (pages ____) entitled PARTS AND NAMES. The drawings on these
pages will help you become familiar with the various control buttons and pedals on the
CL25-LDS.
3.
POWER ON –
Plug in the CL25-LDS and turn the VOLUME KNOB to the right to turn
the instrument on. The SOUND SELECT LED should light to indicate that power is on.
4.
SET VOLUME –
Adjust the VOLUME KNOB to a minimum level when you first turn
on the instrument, especially when using headphones. Then, adjust volume upward to a
comfortable listening level.
5.
PLAYING THE CL25-LDS
– When power is first turned on, the Concert Piano sound
is active. Play any key or chord and adjust the VOLUME KNOB upward or downward
to a comfortable listening level. Press the SOUND SELECT button to select the next
sound (Modern Piano). The eight sounds of the CL25-LDS are arranged in a preset order
and can be selected by pressing the SOUND SELECT button repeatedly until the desired
sound is heard:
Sound 1: Concert Piano
Sound 5: Harpsichord
Sound 2: Modern Piano
Sound 6: Vibraphone
Sound 3: Electric Piano
Sound 7: Strings
Sound 4: Church Organ
Sound 8: Choir
After reaching Sound 8, the CL25-LDS will return to Sound 1 when the SOUND
SELECT button is pressed.
6.
USING THE “HYMN PLAYER” FEATURE
The unique Hymn Player feature allows anyone – even those who lack keyboard skills –
to play a selection of 88 favorite hymns and children’s songs with just one finger. The
following section will walk you through this feature step-by-step. Please refer to the
diagram on page ___ of the CL25-LDS Owner’s Manual to identify the buttons below.
