Dear customer, thank you for choosing a KaWe pro-
duct. Our products are known for their high quality and 
long life. This KaWe product meets EC standards 
084/589 EWG (standards for medical products).

Please read these instructions thoroughly and  
carefully before attempting to use this product  
and heed the given instructions.

Familiarize yourself fully with this product 
before using it.

Use: 

The diagnostic lights, CLIPLIGHT and KaWe DIA-

LIGHT® XL are only to be used by authorized profes-
sional personnel.

Purpose:

 The lights are to be used for the purpose of 

illumination of the part of the body to be checked, e.g. 
oral cavities, skin surfaces etc.

Operation:

 CLIPLIGHT: Turn on by pressing the clip 

until contact with the ferrule of the pin has been cre-
ated. Change the lamp or the batteries by removing 
the metallic lamp support.

KaWe DIALIGHT® XL: Turn on and off by pushing the 
sliding switch. Change the lamp or the batteries (bat-
teries are not included) by removing the head from the 
handle.

Diagnostic light: Turn on and off by pressing the black 
pushbutton switch at the end of the clip. Change the 
lamp or the batteries by removing the black clip part.

Unsuited use/contraindication of the products:

Any use other than that described here is not in accor-
dance with the intended use of the product. The manu-
facturer is not liable for any resulting damages. The 
user alone bears the risk.

Guarantee:

 When used under normal circumstances 

and with attention to these instructions we guarantee 
this product for two years after the date of purchase.  
(Except bulbs and rechargeable batteries.) Should you 
need further information or should your instrument 
require repair, please contact your dealer.

  Instruction: 

Do not shine with the KaWe  

DIALIGHT® XL into the eyes. Never bring the lights into 
contact with liquid.

Limitation of reprocessing:

 No special require-

ments. It is recommended to reprocess the instrument 
immediately after use.

Instructions
Workstation:

 Remove dirt accumulation on surfaces 

with a disposable cloth/tissue.

Storage and transport:

 In order to avoid dirt accu-

mulation and dust, always store the lights in their 
packaging. Caution: If the light is dropped it may break.

Cleaning preparation:

 No special requirements.
