Purpose

Using direct ophthalmoscopy, 

the ophthalmoscope is used 

for examination of the fundus of the eye.  

To supply the instrument with 

electricity, use only the included handle.

Any use other than that described here is 

not in accordance with the intended use 

of the unit.

The manufacturer is not liable for any 

resulting damages.

  Please read these instructions  

thoroughly and carefully before  

attempting to use this product  

and heed the given instructions  

for the care of the product.

This KaWe product meets 

the international standards for medical 

products 93/42EEC.

Guarantee

When used under normal 

circumstances and with attention to 

these instructions (operating manual), we 

guarantee this product for 

two years after the purchase date (with 

exception to the glow lamp and the 

accumulator/batteries).

  be used when it is in good working  

  order and condition.

 The ophthalmoscope is not 

  designed for surgical procedures.

 No direct contact of the 

  ophthalmoscope with the eye.

Caution, do not drop the 

  ophthalmoscope – risk of breakage!
• 

Never bring the ophthalmoscope  

  into contact with liquid.

Ensure that no fl uid is allowed 

  to penetrate the housing!
