9.2 

Return Policy 

If the Kaye HTR-420 malfunctions within the warranty period, the following procedures must be 

completed. 

1.  Contact the local Customer Support Center, listed below, and provide the full details of the 

problem and the serial number of the unit. If the nature of the problem indicates the need 

for factory service, Amphenol Advanced Sensors will provide you with a “RETURN 

AUTHORIZATION” number and shipping instructions for the return of the unit to the 

nearest service center.  

2.  If Amphenol Advanced Sensors instructs you to send the unit to a service center, it must be 

shipped prepaid to the authorized repair center indicated in the shipping instructions. 

3.  Upon receipt, Amphenol Advanced Sensors evaluates the unit to determine the cause of 

the malfunction. 

 
Then one of the following courses of action will be taken: 

  If the malfunction is covered under the terms of the warranty, the unit will be repaired at no 

cost to the owner and returned. 

  If Amphenol Advanced Sensors determines that the malfunction is not covered under the 

terms of the warranty, or if the warranty has expired, an estimate for the cost of the repairs 

at standard rates will be provided. Upon receipt of the owner’s approval to proceed, the unit 

will be repaired and returned.
