Front wheel
Fit the quick-release in the wheel, and screw together. To fi x in place tension and lock with the
lever. The quick-release consists of three parts: adjuster nut, quick-release lever and spring. The
conical bearing on the wheel axle should be adjusted so that the wheel turns easily.
Front wheel with quick-release

Remove the front wheel and open the quick-release on the axle and pull the wheel out
from the front fork.

Note that the quick-release should be on the left-hand side when replacing the wheel.
Close the quick-release and tighten the adjusting nut until it is fl ush. Open the quick-re-
lease and tighten the adjusting nut another 3/4 turn. Close the quick-release and check
that it grips the fork. Adjust the quick-release again, if necessary. Check that the brakes are
working properly.

The wheel must not come closer to the fork leg than 1.5 mm.

The wheel should turn easily, with very little play sideways.

Check that the lever on the quick-release is pushed in and that the wheel is properly
secured before riding the bike.
WARNING: Do not ride the bike if the lever on the quick-release is not fully closed and properly
clamping the wheel. Do not allow children to use the bike before fi rst checking that the
quick-release is properly tightened.
