Check that the wheel turns freely and that the brake pads do not touch and drag against the
brake paths.

Adjust with the screws if a brake pad touches the rim.

Check that the brakes stop the rotation of the wheel when the corresponding brake handle
on the handlebars is pressed in. It should not be possible to press the brake handles in more
than 2.5 cm when the brakes are properly adjusted.
USE
NOTE:
• The maximum distance per full charge is measured on the horizontal at 20°C, in calm
conditions, at a speed of 25 km/h and with a total weight of 75 kg.
• The actual real distance varies with the load, road conditions, wind speed, temperature, biking
mode (number of starts etc.), tyre pressure and correct battery charging routines.
• To obtain the longest possible distance all the above factors should be checked and adjusted as
far as is possible – avoid overloading, pedal smoothly and with the correct tyre pressure, and
charge the battery regularly.

Turn the gear shift forwards or backwards to change gear. There are 3 gears, and the one in
use is shown in the gear shift indicator.
