Do not remove the USB stick during the writing process! Otherwise it can-
not be used for another configuration.
3) After the transfer is finished (approx. 1-2 minutes), the status LED goes
out and an audible signal sounds.
4) Remove the USB stick.
The configuration has been read out and transferred to the USB stick.
7.1.2
Adapt configuration file
To adapt the configuration file, proceed as follows:
1) Plug the USB stick into the PC.
2) Open the
CFG
directory on the USB stick.
3) Open the
*.conf
file with a text editor.
4) In the
[NETWORK]
section, set the
LocalDHCPServerEnabled
variable to
TRUE
.
5) Save the configuration file under the same filename.
6) Eject and remove the USB stick.
The configuration file is adapted.
7.1.3
Import configuration
To import the configuration to the desired KeContact M20, proceed as fol-
lows:
1) Plug the USB stick into the KeContact M20. It must be ready for opera-
tion and already configured.
2) Transfer of the configuration is started automatically. The status LED
also flashes and soft audible signals are emitted at longer intervals.
3) After the transfer is finished (approx. 1-2 minutes), the status LED goes
out and an audible signal sounds.
4) Remove the USB stick.
5) Restart the KeContact M20.
The configuration has been imported.
7.2
Configuration in series via USB stick
There is the option of configuring multiple masters (KeContact M20) with the
same settings. In this process, the configuration of a master is saved on a
USB stick and can then be transferred to other masters (KeContact M20).
The following tools are required for configuration via USB stick:

An empty USB stick formatted with FAT32.

A PC.
