Compliance with the EMC Directive
Commissioning (i.e. starting up intended usage) is only permitted while strictly complying
with the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU). The installer/operator of a machine and/or system
must provide proof of compliance with the protection targets stipulated in the standard.
To limit conducted interference emissions to the permissible level, external EMC mains
filters are available. The use of these mains filters makes possible compliance with the
EMC Directive 2014/30/EU under certain conditions:
y
Public low-voltage network "first environment" (residential C2)
y
Industrial low-voltage network: "second environment" (industrial C3)
A.7 Accessories
We have supplemented the ServoOne CM system with comprehensive accessories.
Important components are, e.g.:
y
Synchronous servomotors from the product ranges LSH/LST/LSN and LSP

Pre-assembled encoder cable.
y
DriveManager 5 PC user software.
y
Mains filter - reduces the cable-borne high-frequency interference from the drive
controller (for use on the ServoOne CM-A active supply unit BG3).
y
Mains choke - reduces the distortion (THD) in the system and prolongs the life
of the axis controller (for use on the ServoOne CM-A active supply unit BG3).
y
LC filter
y
Braking resistor - converts surplus regenerated energy into heat and in this way
permits an even more dynamic movement process (for usage on the charging
module).
