3.5 Installation of devices for liquid cooling
Note:
The "liquid cooling" device model is in preparation.

Arrange the devices on the backing plate as per

ServoOne CM-L, the MotionOne CM controller and the
ServoOne CM-S switched-mode power supply .
Align all devices in a line along the top edge of the
devices.
It is imperative you observe the information on the butt
mounting of the devices.
This action is necessary to be able to couple
the DC link and the 24 V DC using the pre-
assembled busbars.

Mark out the position of the tapped holes and the pipe
fittings on the backing plate.
Drill holes in the backing plate and cut a thread for
each fixing screw in the backing plate.
Pay attention to the bending radius of the
connection cables!
For hole spacing and dimensional drawings see
Table 3.1 and Figure 3.4.

Mount ServoOne CM-A or ServoOne CM-D (BG3)
and the ServoOne CM-L (BG1) vertical and with the
ServoOne CM axis controller (BG3) butt-mounted on
the backing plate.
While screwing the hose connections (not included in
the scope of supply) into the pipe fittings, lock the pipe
fittings using a 22 mm open-ended wrench to prevent
damage due to the application of torque to the device.
The contact surface must be bare metal and
conductive.
The ServoOne CM-L (BG1) must be mounted
directly to the left beside the ServoOne CM-A or
ServoOne CM-D (BG3).
Always mount the
ServoOne CM-C capacitance module directly
to the right beside the ServoOne CM-A or
ServoOne CM-D (BG3).
Always mount the
ServoOne CM-S switched-mode power supply
directly to the left beside the ServoOne CM-L.

Pay attention to a perfectly sealed connection without
leaks (e.g. using Teflon sealing tape).
