4.6.9
Residual current device
If local regulations require the installation of an residual current device, the following
applies:
Note:
In case of a fault the axis controller in the axis group is able to generate DC
fault currents without zero crossing. The multi-axis system must therefore only
be operated with a type B residual current device (RCD) for AC fault currents,
pulsating or smooth DC fault currents that are suitable for drive controller
operation, see IEC 60755. Residual current monitoring devices (RCMs)
suitable for drive controllers can also be used for monitoring purposes.
4.6.10 Mains fuses
For compliance with device safety as per EN 61800-5-1, please use mains fuses of
utilisation class gG that disconnect the device from the mains in the event of a fault.

4.7 Operation on TT, TN and IT system
CAUTION!
Damage to the device due to incorrect operation!
x
Carelessness may result in significant damage.
Pay attention to all conditions stipulated for the operation of the devices on special systems.
4.7.1
Operation of the ServoOne CM-A on TN and TT system
Operation is only allowed:
y
With phase voltages
3 x 230 V ... 3 x 480 V
y
If the star point of the supply system is earthed and
y
The supply system conforms to the maximum overvoltage category III as per
EN 61800-5-1 at a system voltage (phase conductor
→
star point) of maximum
277 V.
4.7.2
Operation of the ServoOne CM-A on IT system
Operation is not allowed!
NOTE
Operation on an IT system is possible with an isolating transformer con-
nected in series (star point on the secondary side earthed,
≙
TN system).
Before you use this type of system, please contact
your sales representative or technical contact at
KEBA Industrial Automation Germany GmbH for information on the
boundary conditions that need to be met.
