APTUS 1 RGB TO COMPONENT VIDEO CONVERTOR
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Part of a new “Aptus” range of in-line video signal convertors from Keene that are designed for easy connection
and simple operation. The Aptus 1 Is an RGB to component video convertor. It’s built using the same high
quality components as the Keene RGB2C but is much simpler in operation. It will convert RGBs (set top box
RGB with composite sync) into component (Y Pb Pr) video.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The Aptus1 convertor may be plugged directly into the RGBs source, or if desired, the supplied scart plug to
socket cable may be used to allow traditional in-line connection via a scart to scart cable. The component video
output is via the 3 x RCA phono sockets. The 3.5mm stereo mini-jack may also be used to provide stereo audio
if required.
Power must be connected to the DC input socket on the side if the unit using the supplied mains adaptor. The
green LED adjacent to the Cb/Pb phono socket will illuminate when power is connected.
NOTES
For best results use good quality, correctly graded video cables for every connection.
