2.7 Communication Way
2.7.1 Monitor Mode
The PCS has various monitor ways, which makes user obtain current running data of PCS
conveniently. We provide two monitor modes as follows.

When monitoring one or more the PCS by PC, the communication mode adopts RS485 bus, and there
needs a RS485/RS232 electrical level convertor between PC and RS485 bus, the wiring of
communication system is as shown in Figure2-13. The RS485 communication port of the PCS is as
shown in Figure2-5

2.7.2 Communicate with BMS
The PCS can communicate with battery management system BMS by RS485 or CAN. It is able to
monitor the batteries’ real-time status, and also, it can alarm and protect for the fault according to the
battery status, which enhance the safety of batteries.
